Agronomist, graduated in 1992 at the University of São Paulo. Masters degree in Animal Sciences in 1998, at the University of São Paulo.
Executive MBA through FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração, in 2005, with management courses taken in Cambrigde, Lyon and Shanghai, as well as São Paulo.
Worked for 10 years as a dairy cattle specialist in dairy farms, focusing on nutrition, management and facilities.
In 2000, founded AgriPoint Consultoria, a consulting company specialized in dairy and beef markets. AgriPoint has four agribusiness websites, including www.milkpoint.com.br, having more than 117.000 subscribers from more than 60 countries.
Marcelo is the Marketing Director of Láctea Brasil, a dairy promotion entity, is a Member of Lagoa da Serra (a major AI company in Brazil) Consulting Council and a Member of Embrapa Gado de Leite's External Consulting Council.
Marcelo has participated in many national and international dairy meetings, many of them as speaker, talking about dairy market perspectives and consumption trends. He has also coordinated broad studies such as “Scenarios for the Dairy Industry in 2020”. |
